How we handle your data — no surprises

Effective Date: January 21, 2026

VoiceAI Studio is run by CueBytes LLC. We operate voicecloneai.app along with our iOS and Android apps. This page explains what data we collect when you use our voice cloning and text-to-speech tools, what we do with it, and how we keep it safe. We've tried to keep it straightforward — no one enjoys reading legalese.

1. What We Collect

Account basics — your name, email, and password. If you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, we get the profile info those services share with us.

Voice data — the audio clips you upload for cloning (we need at least 30 seconds), the text you type in for speech generation, any audio files we create for you, and settings you choose like speed, pitch, and emotion.

Subscription info — which plan you're on, purchase receipts from Apple or Google, how many minutes and voices you've used, and whether your subscription is active or expired.

How you use the app — which features you interact with, when you generate voices or create templates, what device and OS version you're on, and which platform you're using (web, iOS, or Android).

Technical data — your IP address and approximate location (country level), device identifiers, push notification tokens, login history, and browser details.

Support conversations — anything you send us through support tickets, including attachments, voice messages, and block appeal requests.

2. Why We Collect It

Mostly to make the product work. We need your audio to clone voices. We need your subscription data to know what features to unlock. We track usage so you don't accidentally blow past your monthly limits without knowing. Beyond that, we use data to keep the platform secure (blocking abuse, verifying purchases), send you relevant notifications through Firebase, respond when you write to support, and spot patterns that help us improve. We also comply with legal obligations when required.

3. Third-Party Services We Use

A few outside services help us run VoiceAI Studio. Apple App Store and Google Play handle payments and subscription verification — we never touch your credit card. Firebase Cloud Messaging delivers push notifications to your phone. We use a GeoIP service to figure out what country you're connecting from (mostly for security). And if you sign in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, those providers share basic profile data with us. Each of these services has its own privacy policy, and we can't control what they do on their end.

4. How We Protect Your Data

Everything between your device and our servers is encrypted with HTTPS/TLS. Our API uses JWT tokens for authentication, and we have rate limiting on sensitive endpoints to prevent abuse. On the admin side, every action gets logged in an audit trail. Webhook payloads from Apple and Google are verified with signature checks before we process them. We also run a multi-layer blocking system — at the user, IP, and device level — to keep bad actors out.

5. How Long We Keep Things

Your account data sticks around while you're active, plus 90 days after you delete your account. Voice templates last until you remove them or close your account. Usage logs are kept for 2 years (we need them for billing and analytics). Support tickets stay on file for 3 years. Audit logs — the ones that track admin actions — are held for 7 years for compliance. Subscription records are retained as long as tax and accounting rules require.

6. Who We Share Data With

We don't sell your personal information. Full stop. We share data with the service providers that help run the platform (payment processors, cloud hosting), but only what's necessary. Beyond that, we'll share data if the law requires it — a court order, for instance — or to prevent fraud and enforce our policies. If CueBytes LLC is ever acquired or merged, your data would transfer as part of that, but we'd notify you. And of course, we'll share data if you explicitly ask us to.

7. Your Rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, fix anything that's inaccurate, or request that we delete your account entirely. If you want your data in a portable format, we can do that too. You can opt out of marketing messages anytime (though you'll still get important transactional ones like subscription confirmations). Push notifications can be turned off in your phone's settings. And if your account gets blocked and you think it was a mistake, you can file an appeal through our support system. To exercise any of these rights, reach out through the app or email us.

8. Cookies

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and make the site work properly. We also use Google reCAPTCHA to block bots, which may collect some device and behavioral data on its own. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

9. Kids Under 13

VoiceAI Studio isn't designed for children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their data. If you're a parent and think your child signed up, please contact us and we'll remove their information.

10. International Transfers

Depending on where you are, your data may be processed in a different country. We take steps to make sure it's protected regardless of where it ends up.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may revise this policy occasionally. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of the page. For major changes, we'll do our best to give you a heads-up. Using the platform after a change means you're OK with the updated policy.
